Nina and her family relocated to Florida in 2007 where she worked as a Broward County Substitute Teacher for grades K-5 and obtained her Florida Teacher Certified Educator (F.T.C.E.) certification. Due to the numerous teacher layoffs in the field of education, she decided to transfer her skills to social services and began working as a Re-Employment Services Case Manager for WorkForce One in Hollywood in October 2009.

Under funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Nina facilitated orientations for job seekers and worked with a caseload of 200+ candidates on unemployment for the duration of the Re-Employment Service program’s existence, until the grant funding ended in August 2010.  Impression Résumés, LLC opened it’s doors in April of 2011.

Nina thoroughly enjoyed her experience working with job seekers, employers, and co-workers at WorkForce One. She feels passionately about the importance of career viability as well as self-sustainability for all job seekers.

She specializes in assessing employment barriers, critiquing/writing resumes, creating employment development career plans, career coaching, encouraging entrepreneurship, assisting Spanish speaking candidates, and educating job seekers about helpful resources in the community. Her background also includes academic advising as well as employment interviewing in the telecommunications industry.
